Chosen names now allowed on Miner Card IDs

Individuals may get Miner Card IDs with their chosen names instead of legal names. The new guidelines went into effect on Oct. 1. If you would like to get a card showing your chosen name, please take the following steps:
- For students, ensure your name is updated with the Office of the Registrar through Joe’SS
- For faculty and staff, ensure your name is updated with the human resources department.
Please allow 48 hours for your name to update with the Miner Card ID system before visiting the Miner Card ID office. Miner Card IDs replaced due to name changes are offered at a reduced rate of $10 per card.
