Spivey named director of graduate and international admissions

David Spivey, assistant vice president for graduate enrollment at the Chatham University in Pennsylvania, will join Missouri S&T as the founding director of graduate and international admissions in enrollment management. His start date is Monday, Sept. 27, and he will report to Shobi Sivadasan, vice provost of enrollment management.
Spivey will be responsible for graduate admissions and international (both undergraduate and graduate) admissions. Prior to working at Chatham University, he spent 10 years at Northern Arizona University, where he started as a career and academic advisor before becoming an assistant director in the graduate college and later the director of the graduate college.
Spivey holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Spanish from Georgia State University and Northern Illinois University, respectively.
