Professor publishes book on computational fluid dynamics

Dr. Joseph Smith, the Wayne and Gayle Laufer Chair of Energy and a professor of chemical and biochemical engineering, recently published a book on computational fluid dynamics based on his 30 years of experience.

Published by Linus Learning, the book is titled “Computation Fluid Dynamics for the Chemical and Petrochemical Process Industries.”

Smith started the book while he worked for Dow Chemical and wrote it for practicing engineers. He currently uses it in his computational fluid dynamics class for undergraduate and graduate students.
