Name the first inventor who comes to mind. Is the inventor a woman? Women haven’t always had equal opportunities to be inventors but have overcome obstacles to create inventions that change our daily lives. Learn about some of these women in “Picturing Women Inventors,” a poster exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services.

The exhibit and accompanying display will be housed on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library Oct. 1-31, 2021, as part of Archives Month. The exhibit is co-sponsored by the S&T Archives and the SHSMO-Rolla Research Center.
