Fire alarm testing underway

Missouri S&T’s facilities services staff, in conjunction with Cintas Fire Protection, is inspecting campus building fire alarm systems. The process begins this week and will continue for the following three to four weeks. Signs will be posted on entrances of those buildings the day inspection and testing will occur. All aspects of the fire alarms will be tested – strobe lights, smoke detectors and horns, which may signal for up to 15 seconds during testing.

Inspections will be conducted in the following buildings:

  • Innovation Park
  • Interdisciplinary Engineering Building

  • Norwood Hall
  • Parker Hall
  • Physics Building
