The College of Arts, Sciences, and Business will host an open house for the Collaboratory and DeWitt Gallery 2-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in Room G-2 of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. Come see the new lab and discover the possibilities for conducting and sharing your research.

The Collaboratory is a technology-rich humanities laboratory designed to encourage interdisciplinary research. The lab includes the DeWitt Gallery for public displays, a collaborative space equipped with Vibe boards and a 3D scanner, and an audiovisual recording room.

The DeWitt Gallery is named in honor of Dr. Petra DeWitt, who played an integral part in the Collaboratory’s development. She is an associate professor of history and political science and a graduate of S&T. Read more about her inspiration to contribute to the Collaboratory.
