Betty Birkner to retire

Betty Birkner, business support specialist in environmental health and safety, is retiring after 37 years of service to S&T. The campus community is invited to drop by the Hasselmann Alumni House Grand Hall 2-4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, to wish her well. You may also contact her at 341-4305 or birkner@mst.edu. Her final day in the office will be Friday, Sept. 24.
Birkner started her S&T career in the accounting department in 1984. She spent the majority of her service in facilities operations (1987-2011), where she held the roles of secretary, administrative assistant and storeroom clerk. She is completing her S&T career in environmental health and safety as a business support specialist.
