This is a reminder on the importance of ensuring your student has adequate health insurance coverage.  This year, Missouri S&T is excited to announce a new partnership with Anthem Student Advantage to offer comprehensive health insurance coverage for our students, including options to enroll separately in dental and vision plans. The deadline to enroll in this plan is quickly approaching, September 6, 2021.

Health insurance is an essential resource for all students. Ensuring your student has adequate health coverage is a priority now more than ever.  Unexpected health care expenses associated with illness, accidents, or mental well-being can destabilize a student’s financial situation and derail their progress toward a degree. These potential barriers can be reduced when students have adequate health insurance.

We have compiled information to assist families in selecting health insurance coverage that best meets their student’s needs. Families may also review the highlights below for Anthem Student Advantage.

As a reminder, domestic students may elect to enroll directly for Anthem Student Advantage (or may use the insurance plan of their choice).  The enrollment site should go live on Friday, July 16th and remain open until September 6, 2021 for domestic students.

International Students are automatically enrolled in Anthem Student Advantage, which is billed to their student account.  All dependents must be enrolled separately with Anthem.

Both international and domestic students must enroll separately in vision and dental care if desired, they may do this directly from the S&T Anthem website.  Anthem Student Advantage is designed specifically for college students with student-minded, school-friendly, and access-focused care, including these helpful resources.
