Funeral arrangements announced for Richard Altheide

The Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Richard W. Altheide, who recently retired from Missouri S&T. He died July 17 at age 60. He served Missouri S&T for 37 years and retired in June as an IT network systems analyst-architect.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, July 26, at the Null and Son Funeral Home, located at 1010 Kingshighway in Rolla. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Members of Missouri S&T’s counseling staff are available to assist members of the S&T community affected by Richard’s death. Those who wish to seek counseling services may contact the counseling office by calling 573-341-4211. Additional counseling and support information is available at wellbeing.mst.edu and via the UM System’s Employee Assistance Program.
