Bruening lectures virtually to Swiss class

Dr. Michael Bruening gave a Zoom presentation on April 12 to the seminar on early modern history at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He discussed his book during his talk, titled “Refuser de ‘baiser la pantoufle’: Les réseaux des opposants évangéliques et francophones à Calvin aux temps de la Réforme.”
Bruening is interim chair and associate professor of history and political science. His book, titled Refusing to Kiss the Slipper: Opposition to Calvinism in the Francophone Reformation, was published in March by Oxford University Press.
