Early-career faculty members and their mentors are invited to a workshop, titled “2021 NSF CAREER Proposer and Mentor Work Session: Writing for Reviewers” 1-4 p.m. Friday, June 4, via Zoom. The goal of the workshop is for each attendee to leave with mentor input based on the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) review criteria.

The workshop will focus on insights gained from NSF’s instructions to their reviewers and from past reviews of S&T CAREER proposals. If you have not done so, please identify a mentor and invite your mentor to this intensive, hands-on workshop.

Attendees should complete and bring a draft project summary and project description to the workshop. Much of the event will involve breakout sessions in which proposers and mentors will work together reviewing drafts using checklists provided during the workshop. Please share your drafts with your mentors before the workshop.

To attend, RSVP to Abigayle Sherman, executive assistant, at abigayle@mst.edu with your name and your mentor’s name by Thursday, June 3.
