On April 5th, all S&T students should have received an invitation in their S&T email account to participate in a campus-wide research study, which involves a survey about student health and well-being. The success of the study depends on gathering diverse participation and perspectives of students across campus.

How it works: participants will complete a mental health screen to assess for anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, the most common mental health issues in the college population. Participants who screen high-risk or positive for clinical levels will be invited to move into phase two of the study where they will be randomized into either a coached mobile intervention, SilverCloud Health, or receive information on how to access support from S&T counseling services.

What’s in it for you? You will be entered into a sweepstake to win one of forty $100 prizes. If study eligible, you will receive a $5 Amazon gift card after you complete the baseline survey. Plus, you will be entered into an additional sweepstake to win one of five $50 gift cards. You will receive personalized mental health feedback and information about resources. You will be providing valuable information that could help improve student mental health.

Reminder emails will be distributed April 12, 19, and 26. The survey closes on April 30.

Thank you for considering this study!
