Renaissance Student Award applications due today

Sarah Haug, then a senior in chemical engineering, earned Missouri S&T’s 2020 Renaissance Student Award. She was presented the award during a virtual ceremony on May 15, 2020.
Do you know a graduating senior at Missouri S&T who excels in various areas, such as music, theater, sports, visual art, dance, writing, languages or philosophy? If so, encourage them to apply for the Renaissance Student Award by Monday, March 29.
The award goes to a senior graduating in spring or winter 2021 who demonstrates substantive engagement in some creative pursuit in the arts and humanities, and exhibits the qualities of a Renaissance person. The award was inspired by alumnus Ryan Shubatt, a petroleum engineer, artist, athlete and musician. The winner will receive a certificate of recognition and a $1,000 check for seniors graduating in May 2021, or a scholarship for seniors graduating in December 2021.
