Apply to be faculty fellow by April 1

The vice chancellor of research and graduate studies office is accepting applications for a faculty fellow. To be eligible, candidates must be tenured S&T faculty and apply by Thursday, April 1.

The faculty fellow appointment will be 50% full-time equivalent (FTE) and will include a stipend, summer salary and course release. The term will be from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. It is renewable for up to three years.

Duties will include:

  • Working with the vice chancellor on strategic and operational directions for S&T research and graduate studies
  • Assisting in the integration of the Kummer research centers into the S&T research ecosphere
  • Presenting to and working with Faculty Senate, Graduate Student Council and graduate faculty to improve research and graduate education at Missouri S&T
  • Assisting in the organization of events sponsored by the vice chancellor’s office.

If selected, and before being appointed, the fellow must make arrangements with their department chair and college dean about how their current faculty duties will be covered.
