During Monday night’s meeting, the Rolla City Council allowed the city’s COVID-19 ordinance to expire today (Tuesday, Feb. 2). The ordinance went into effect Nov. 27 and required the public to wear face coverings in businesses and public places and established occupancy limits for certain activities considered high risk.

Missouri S&T is not affected by this change. S&T will continue to require face coverings in classrooms, labs and public spaces, limit the size of gatherings, and continue to practice the safety protocols outlined here. In addition, the university’s COVID-19 Incident Command Team urges all students, faculty and staff to continue to follow S&T’s safety protocols when off campus.
