CIES to host research seminar Feb. 18

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) will host two speakers at its research seminar 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, via Zoom.
Ahmad Mhanna, director of the Middle East and North Africa region of the American Concrete Institute will present a talk titled “Overview: ACI Middle East and North Africa Office.” He will discuss the ACI’s first international office.
Haidar Alhaidary, project executive for Middle East Engineering Technologies (MEET) in the United Arab Emirates, will give a talk titled “MEET 3-D Concrete Printing.” He will discuss his company, 3-D concrete printing in general and the first 3-D printed house in the UAE.
