Missouri S&T invites graduate students to participate in the 6th annual Three-Minute-Thesis (3MT) competition. The registration deadline is Sunday, Jan. 24.

The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges graduate students to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages participants to share the importance of research to the broader community. The winner will compete regionally against winners from other Midwestern schools.

This year’s virtual competition will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, and Thursday, Feb. 18, with the finale on Wednesday, Feb. 24. For more information and how to register for the event, visit grad.mst.edu/events/3mt/.

Learn more about 3MT by joining one of the orientation and research prep sessions via Zoom at noon Tuesday, Jan. 12, or 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. The session password is 65409.

For more information, contact Adrienne Neckermann, senior program support coordinator in graduate studies, at neckermanna@mst.edu or 341-7712.
