Casey Gideon-Saladin, business support specialist, and Karen Leatherman, small business counselor, were recognized on Nov. 17 for their work as steering committee members with the Women in Business group.
Maureen Brinkley, district director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s St. Louis District Office, recognized the Women in Business Group steering committee members for their contributions to the region during the virtual event on Nov. 17.
During the previous two years, the Women in Business Group has helped provide more than 400 women with opportunities for professional growth, training and strengthening their networks. It is a collaborative program with the Small Business Development Center at S&T and the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
