Over 60 current and past Missouri S&T faculty members are represented in the  database “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators,” published in the open access journal PLOS (The Public Library of Science) Biology.

The S&T researchers represent the following departments:

  • business and information technology
  • chemical and biochemical engineering
  • chemistry
  • civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • computer science
  • electrical and computer engineering
  • geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering
  • materials science and engineering
  • mechanical and aerospace engineering
  • physics.

The database includes 100,000 scientists with standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator. Separate data is shown for career-long and single-year impact.
