Mining engineering professor named to endowed title

Dr. Kwame Awuah-Offei has been appointed as the Union Pacific Foundation/Rocky Mountain Energy Co. Professor in Mining Engineering. His initial appointment is effective through Aug. 31, 2025.
Awuah-Offei, who earned a Ph.D. in mining engineering from Missouri S&T in 2006, serves as director of mining engineering at S&T .
