Three graduating students have been chosen to speak during Missouri S&T’s virtual commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, via Facebook Live.
The speakers, from left, are:
Kara Beldo is a senior in multidisciplinary studies and teacher education and certification from Parkville, Missouri. She has earned a Missouri teaching certificate and Project Lead the Way certification. She will pursue a master’s degree at the University of Missouri while working as a long-term substitute teacher in Kansas City.
Tracy R. Carpenter Bond is a graduate student in industrial-organizational psychology from St. Louis. She is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 34 years, and is currently the district coordinator of veteran affairs for St. Louis Community College.
Jimmie T. Washington is a senior in chemical engineering from Missouri City, Texas. He will work at Thermo Fisher Scientific following graduation and participate in the company’s Operations Leadership Development Program designed to develop the company’s future leaders.
