S&T to offer Lean Green Belt course for certification

Missouri S&T, in partnership with the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), will offer a three-day, online course for Lean Green Belt certification.
Join Dr. Beth Cudney, associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering, Tuesday, Dec. 8, through Thursday, Dec. 10, and learn how Lean can make an organization more effective and efficient using continual improvement.
Graduate students, undergraduate students and business professionals in manufacturing, business, financial and health care industries will benefit from this proven approach to improving business processes.
The course teaches attendees Lean process methods by integrating principles of business, statistics and engineering to achieve results. Participants will learn how to quantify critical quality issues in an organization, increase productivity and improve quality.
