The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) provides career development and mentoring resources for academics at all career stages.

The organization offers various free virtual offerings, including:

• Weekly Monday Motivator emails
• A core curriculum that addresses 10 key skills for academics to cultivate (https://www.facultydiversity.org/curriculum)
• A dissertation success curriculum that supports doctoral student success
• Regular webinars and multiweek courses facilitated by guest experts and NCFDD facilitators
• Regular 14-day writing challenges
• Monthly accountability and buddy matching with other NCFDD members
• Private discussion forums for peer-mentoring and problem solving
• Access to the NCFDD library, which includes workshop materials, referrals and readings.

To access these resources and programs, create an account using your S&T email address. Follow these five steps:

• Go to facultydiversity.org/join
• Choose Missouri University of Science and Technology from the drop-down menu
• Select Activate my Membership
• Complete the registration form using your @mst.edu email address
• Check your S&T email. Find the NCFDD confirmation/welcome email, and click “Activate Account” in the email.
