Encourage students to apply for success center tutor, coach

The Student Success Center seeks students to work as success coaches and tutors during the Spring 2021 semester. Starting pay is $9.45 an hour. The application is available on Handshake and a short cover letter is required. Applications close on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Coaches work with students one-on-one to help develop their time management, study skills, and other non-academic skills that can benefit them in the classroom. Coaches also assist with campus events that support the first-year experience.
The Student Success Center offers tutoring for over 70 classes, including math, chemistry and general education courses. Tutors provide individualized tutoring for courses in which they’ve earned an A.
