Speaker to discuss ultra-high performance concrete

Dr. Nima Farzadnia will present a talk titled “Internal Curing of Ultra-high Performance Concrete Using Superabsorbent Polymers” at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, via Zoom. The research seminar is hosted by the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES).
Farzadnia is a postdoctoral fellow at CIES. His research interests include chemical characterization, micromechanical and microstructural analysis of cement-based materials using advanced techniques.
