Is there a teacher in your life you’ll always remember – maybe one who went beyond the call of duty to help you during the COVID-19 pandemic?

With its new “Dean’s Medal” award, the Dean’s Leadership Council of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) will recognize faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the academic, professional or personal growth of their undergraduate students. Nominate someone.

Along with a financial award of at least $2,020, the medal will be presented annually to one outstanding CASB faculty member at the Dean’s Leadership Council’s meeting.

S&T faculty, administrators, staff, students or alumni may nominate candidates. Nominations from department chairs are encouraged. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

If you know CASB faculty members who have gone the distance to support undergraduate student success, please nominate them for this honor by Thursday, Dec. 31.
