Content Warning (LGBTQ+ hate crimes)
On October 7, 1998, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming, was brutally attacked and tied to a fence in a field outside of Laramie, Wyoming and left to die. On October 12, Matt succumbed to his wounds in a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. Join us this 10/12 at 5:00 PM via Zoom to watch a short film featuring interviews with experts who describe why crimes against gays have reached such a boiling point. Afterwards, we will hold a discussion where ETIX will share the reporting process for campus policy violations.
