Join Dr. Larry Gragg to learn how this “country academy” founded in 1870 became one of the nation’s top technological research universities. Gragg will give a talk titled “Missouri S&T Celebrates 150 Years,” at noon Wednesday, Oct. 28, via Zoom. Register online.

Gragg, who joined S&T’s faculty in 1977, is a Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of history and political science. He authored a new book about the university’s history titled “Forged in Gold: Missouri S&T’s First 150 Years.”

Gragg’s talk is one in a series of talks sponsored by global learning. Each talk will take place at noon, last approximately 30 minutes and include a question-and-answer session at the end. Learn more about the series.
