Early-career faculty invited to NSF awards workshop

The vice chancellor for research and graduate studies invites all early-career faculty members to attend a two-part workshop titled “NSF CAREER and Other Early-Career Awards” 1-3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, via Zoom.

The first session at 1-2:30 p.m. will cover NSF CAREER and other types of early-career awards, as well as proposal support and submission services available through the office of the vice chancellor for research and graduate studies.

The second session at 2:30-3:30 p.m. will feature Dr. Sara Vassmer, director of research activities at The Connector at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She will talk about broader impacts activities as they relate to early career funding applications.
