Join student diversity initiatives 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, for a discussion surrounding the 13th documentary. If you were unable to join the Netflix party viewing, you can watch it on Netflix or for free on YouTube prior to the discussion night.

Join two experts from Washington University in St. Louis as they share their thoughts on the documentary and discuss racial inequality and mass incarceration in Missouri. Dr. David Cunningham is chair of sociology. Dr. Geoff Ward is a professor of African and African American studies.

This will be a virtual event but SDI will also host a discussion watch party at the Diversity House that evening and provide dinner to the first nine student registrants that can attend the entire discussion in person.

There will also be a raffle for virtual student attendees for a Missouri S&T sweatshirt from the S&T Store. Register at sdi.mst.edu/upcoming-events.
