Do you have an interest in medical research? Dr. Costas Tsatsoulis, vice chancellor of research, announces the availability of two $1,000 awards supported by the John W. Claypool Fund for Medical Research. Competition for the awards is open to all undergraduate and graduate students performing medical research activities during the Spring 2021 semester.

To apply, submit a two-page essay describing the proposed research and include the name of a faculty advisor to oversee the project. The faculty advisor should provide a brief recommendation letter. To apply, email your essay and recommendation letter to research@mst.edu by Monday, Oct. 19.

A final report of the research work (at least five pages) should be submitted to the office of the vice chancellor of research by Friday, April 30. Award funds will be distributed after the report has been accepted, before the end of the Spring semester.
