People’s choice award goes to S&T student in pitch competition

Missouri S&T student August Bindbeutel brought home a third-place finish and won the People’s Choice Award at the virtual KC Collective Pitch and Pint pitch competition for startups on Aug. 27.
Bindbeutel is a co-founder and co-owner of RollOut LLC, a company that sells devices for deep tissue massage. The prize money from the competition will go toward research and development for future product expansion as well as a strategic marketing plan.
Based in Kansas City, the KC Collective was developed by startup founders for startup founders.
