ElGawady honored for contributions to materials sciences

Dr. Mohamed ElGawady, Benavides Faculty Scholar and professor of structural engineering, has been awarded an International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) Scientist Award for 2020.
According to the Sweden-based organization, the Advanced Materials Medal is conferred upon researchers and scientists working in interdisciplinary fields to recognize their important contributions in the field of advanced materials science, engineering and technology all over the world.
