On Monday, September 14, S&T was hit with a phishing attack and we would like to remind everyone of things to be aware of when reading and opening your email.
When you click a link and a login request pops up, make sure to look at the web address you were taken to. Official university authentication pages will have one of only two domains at the beginning of the web address. Those two domains are: https://microsoftonline.com/ or https://shib-idp.umsystem.edu/
If you see anything else at the beginning of the URL, you are being phished, and we ask that you please take care of reporting the phishing attempt by submitting a ticket at https://help.mst.edu or by emailing security@mst.edu.
