The Collegiate Recovery Ally training was designed to help faculty, staff and students support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Take the online training. You can take this at your own pace and a time that works best for you.

Sept. 1 marks the first day of National Recovery Month.

Upon completion of this training, there are a few simple things you can do to create a more recovery friendly community as an ally:

  • Print the image at the completion of the training and post it in your office, on your door, etc.
  • Add something about recovery to your email signature, such as “Recovery is possible” or “I support people in recovery.”
  • Post on social media about something you learned in this training to help raise awareness for others.
  • September is National Recovery Month. You can learn more at recoverymonth.gov.
  • Familiarize yourself with local resources for recovery. Missouri S&T offers Miners for Recovery (M4R). Learn more on the organization’s Facebook page.
