Fire alarm testing starts soon

Facilities Services staff, in conjunction with Cintas Fire Protection, is inspecting campus building fire alarm systems. The process will begin next week and will continue for the following 4 to 5 weeks. Signs will be posted on entrances of those buildings the day when inspecting and testing will occur. All aspects of the fire alarms will be tested – strobe lights, smoke detectors and horns, which may signal for up to 15 seconds during testing.
