Dr. Nancy J. Stone, professor of psychological science, has been elected to the position of president-elect of the American Psychological Association’s Division 21: Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology. She will begin her position in the presidential triumvirate in August.
APA, an organization for psychologists in the United States, includes over 121,000 members. Division 21 is devoted to the application of psychological research and principles to the design of systems such as work and living environments, as well as products, to enhance human performance, improve efficiency and increase safety.
