Oboh-Ikuenobe named fellow of paleontology society

Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe was elected as a fellow of the Paleontological Society in recognition of her significant contributions to the field of paleontology.

Oboh-Ikuenobe is interim associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Engineering and Computing. She is also a professor and past interim chair of geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering.

The Paleontological Society is an international nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to the advancement of the science of paleontology: invertebrate and vertebrate paleontology, micropaleontology and paleobotany.
