Missouri S&T faculty are invited learn more about a new professional development program for teaching effectiveness during a webinar at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29.
The program, offered online during the fall 2020 and spring 2021 academic year, provides the option of taking the Effective Teaching Practices course for those wanting to focus on face-to-face teaching, and the Effective Online Teaching Practices course, which upon successful completion results in a nationally recognized effective college instruction certificate.
Register for the June 29 event online and access the webinar via this Zoom link.
There is no fee for participants, and those who successfully complete the course will earn a $1,000 stipend from a grant provided by the National Association of System Heads.
The application deadline is June 30, 2020. Click here to access the program application.
The program is offered through a collaboration with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), the UM System and the S&T Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence. For more information, contact Dr. Irina Ivliyeva, ACUE campus lead, or Dr. Merilee Krueger, S&T cohort facilitator.
