Dr. Keng Siau, chair and professor of business and information technology, has been named a 2019 Distinguished Member – Cum Laude of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). He is 1 of 50 members of the global organization selected to receive the designation.
The AIS serves society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems. Its more than 4,800 members in 92 countries lead the research, teaching, practice and study of information systems worldwide.
The AIS Distinguished Member program recognizes members who have made a significant impact on the association. The additional Cum Laude designation recognizes those who have held continuous membership for at least 10 years, served in a leadership role in the organization and have been published in at least four publications in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal.
