  • Dr. Joel Burken, chair of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, was quoted in a TODAY Show article about S&T research on materials for face masks conducted by Dr. Yang Wang, assistant professor of environmental engineering, and Weixing Hao, Ph.D. student. The article, “Do you need a filter for your homemade face mask?” was published on the TODAY show site on April 17.
