What do Harry Potter, comics, and sci-fi have in common?

They are themes for our elementary and intermediate French courses this fall! Each course will use its theme (listed below) for vocabulary, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, we will cover the basic history of each theme and its impact on French culture.
Themes:
French 1101: Elementary French I – Harry Potter
French 1102: Elementary French II – comics
French 1180: Intermediate French – sci-fi
These are all four-credit courses with blended instruction. We will meet together as scheduled during the week with an additional hour of work for students to complete online.
