Asking for feedback about lumbar puncture procedure

I’m working on a project in my Biological Design and Innovation course with Dr. Semon that involves development of a medical device to improve lumbar punctures. I’m hoping to ask those of you that’ve had experience with a lumbar puncture (usually a spinal tap or an epidural injection) to answer a few questions related to your experience.
