Miners capture indoor track and field title

Missouri S&T’s men’s track and field team won the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Indianapolis. The Miners scored 108 points in the two-day meet to finish 28.5 points in more than two-time defending champion University of Indianapolis and over 30 points more than the next two pursuers, Southwest Baptist University and Lewis University.
Shaun Meinecke, head coach of S&T’s team, was named as the GLVC’s Coach of the Year.
