Librarian to discuss copyright importance today (held via Zoom)

All pre-tenure and pre-promotion faculty are invited to a talk titled “What’s Important in Copyright?” at the next Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) early career forum 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, via Zoom at https://umsystem.zoom.us/j/2283618208. The meeting was previously scheduled in the library but will now be held remotely.
Roger Weaver, librarian at S&T, will discuss how to handle questions about ethically using or sharing the copyrighted work of others in face-to-face, distance and blended classrooms. He will also talk about copyright as it relates to authors.
