Missouri S&T staff and faculty can get free, confidential counseling through the Employee Assistance Program. The program is also open to household members of faculty and staff. Reasons you may want to use the program include if you are:

  • Experiencing stress, anxiety or depression
  • Dealing with grief and loss
  • Feeling overwhelmed by balancing work and family
  • Needing assistance with relationship concerns
  • Needing support for your loved ones
  • Concerned about substance abuse for yourself or a dependent.

To contact the program, please call 833-515-0754. When you call the number, you will speak with a guidance consultant – a counselor with a master’s degree or a Ph.D. He or she will collect general information about you and will talk with you about your needs. The guidance consultant will provide the name of a counselor who can assist you either over the phone or in a face-to-face visit.
