Demo to start soon on structures near power plant

The ancillary structures around and connected to S&T’s former power plant building will be removed in the coming weeks. These include the ash silo, surrounding metal buildings, woodchip structure and pit, and conveyor connected to the building. The former power plant building (yellow-brick building) and switchyard will remain.
A fence will be placed around the area this week. The demolition of the ancillary structures is scheduled to be completed in mid-April.
