Dr. Yinfa Ma, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of chemistry, was known for mentoring students to scientific success.

At Missouri S&T, student success is top priority. To that end, the Dean’s Leadership Council of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) wants to recognize faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the academic, professional or personal growth of their undergraduate students with its new “Dean’s Medal.”

The Dean’s Medal will be awarded annually to one CASB faculty member along with a financial award of not less than $2,020 to be presented at the Dean’s Leadership Council’s fall meeting.

Do you know a CASB faculty member who has gone the distance to support undergraduate student success? It’s time to nominate them for this highest honor!

S&T faculty, administrators, staff, students or alumni from across the university may nominate candidates. Nominations from department chairs are encouraged, and no self-nominations will be accepted.

Please submit your nominations at https://form.jotform.com/200615056618148. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 30.
