Dr. Dave Westenberg, associate professor of biological sciences, will give a talk titled “COVID-19: How We Can Prepare Ourselves for the Ongoing Pandemic” 4-5 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, March 4) in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B of the Havener Center.
Westenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and public health from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of California-Los Angeles. He joined S&T’s faculty in 1997 and was named associate professor in 2003. His research interests include antibacterial materials, microbiology education and rhizosphere microbiology.
Tomorrow’s talk is hosted by S&T’s Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA). Snacks will be provided.
