Since 1895, students and employees at Missouri S&T could orient themselves around campus by looking upward to the chimneys atop the campus power plant. In 2014, the plant was decommissioned. No longer in use, the deteriorating chimneys needed to be removed. Watch as the brick-by-brick demolition process that took steeplejacks six weeks to perform is completed in seconds. Watch video.
